THE RESTORATION
Firstly let's set the record straight. This car by the numbers is a six cylinder. The owner is as much as purest as the next guy but when this car was bought it had a 351ci in it. The difficulty in finding a coupe with a 351 is quite hard and expensive, so for this owner you take what you can get and in this case what you can afford. Having said that this Falcon 500 (apart from the motor) will be taken back to original as much as possible. That includes returning to the Red Pepper duco, black interior and four speed manual. Also any factory options that could be optioned for this model will try and be added. The four headlight configuration was definitely on the cards but as it turns out these grilles are getting hard to find and once again, getting quite expensive.

CURRENT WORK
Other than the body work ADR are also preparing other components to go on the car.

Parts currently restoring
Front grile - single headlight arrangement.
Another Falcon 500 grille was sourced as the one on the car was not good enough. This new was found at wrecker for only $35.00 with only two cracks in the centre of the grill, where they all crack. This has been repaired with plastic weld and is nearly ready for an undercoat.
